How to find watercress in November

Location reveals a lot: look near natural water sources, where the water is clean and clear. He often hides Brunnenkresse between stones or at the edge of shallow streams. Its rounded and shiny leaves are unmistakable, as is the warm and spicy taste. All it takes is a careful bite to immediately feel the power of this herb. Die leaves I am featheredthey consist of single rounded-oval leaves and sit alternately on the hollow, often reddish stem. The leaves are glatt, sattgrün and slightly shiny. When crushed or tasted it develops its characteristic flavour warm and spicy tastereminiscent of radish or watercress. Watercress grows almost exclusively on clean, calcareous running waters, especially on spring streams, stream banks or ditches. It is partly rooted in the water and can also protrude above the water surface with its creeping stems. Their evergreen appearance and early flowering make them one of the first viable plants of spring.
