For example, near a bright house in spring, beautiful white earrings and white tulips (shade) appear, and here and there dark burgundy tulips appear. Therefore, we have a bright, light background (the facade of the house, beautiful earrings, tulips) and a dark, bright contrast (burgundy tulips) – it would look impressive! If we mixed pink, blue and yellow in this palette, there would be no effect, it would be a disaster.

And we will limit the number of colors and not be fooled.
The simplest option is use an accent color and shadesnot far from it. If your flower arrangement is dominated by lilac to purple flowers, it will look stunning despite the flowers being of different varieties, shapes and heights. Choose everything from one color palette and you won’t go wrong, this color combination will definitely work. If you are afraid that it will be boring, plan the flowers so that bluish shades are more dominant in spring, lilac in summer and purple in autumn. It’s really easy to do this with perennials. That’s all, you have a harmonious image.
Another option is combine two contrasting colorslike orange and purple or yellow and blue. Landscape architect at last year’s Garden Style environmental design conference Lina Puodžiūtė he clearly showed how to use the classic color wheel and provided many concrete examples with plants. Choose two opposite colors on the color wheel and use them to create the environment. This is another sure way to create a harmonious image. If you find muted one-color combinations too distracting, these contrasting two-color combinations might be just what you need.
5. LESS COLORS THE BETTER
Color matching is difficult not because of the choice of dominant colors, but because of the exclusion of all other colors. Let’s be honest: if the pink peony has been growing for ten years, but now does not fit into the new bluish-yellow palette, wouldn’t it be a shame to give it up? It will be a real shame.
If you have plants that don’t match the color you chose, transplant them to another part of the yard. No one says the entire yard needs to be painted one color. Of course, it would be solid and beautiful, but if the plot is large, you can create separate zones with different color combinations.
Another way is assign a bed only for flowers grown for harvesting. Plant there even those that do not match in terms of colors. Clear function will be key here. Of course, such a bed may not be visible from the parade area or resting corner, let it be in the garden area and not destroy the color scheme you have created. You will also plant those flowers that did not fit elsewhere due to their color.
If you decide to reduce the number of colors, you will be surprised to see the result: so little is enough to make the image harmonious and look as if the best designer created it.
