Instead of daisy, it is worth choosing several colors, but it is possible to create a flower garden with only one main color. Blue flower garden, pink flower garden, white flower garden – have you seen many in Lithuania? Specialists of modern landscaping courses «Yellow Wheelbarrow» give some tips on how to be stylish monochrome flower garden can be created.
WHITE FLOWER
The white garden, made popular many years ago, was once a wish for many people. In front of a traditional house, along with white columns and a small fountain, the blooming white flowers would appear gentle and in harmony. It would also be ideal as an extension of the Scandinavian white design to the outdoors: a neat and simple style is thus kept both inside the home and in the garden.
The balance of the white flower garden is formed by mixing green, white, and gray shades. Because these colors do not stand out much, the spotlight is on the plants’ features (leaf thinness, roughness, softness, pointed or rounded edges, etc.) and shapes (upright tall flower spikes with oval boxwoods, etc.). You can create striking contrasts by combining plants with different appearances: large tulips and peonies, upright veronicas, coneflowers shaped like daisies, autumn asters, astilbes, and elegant astrantias.
To achieve a fuller appearance, you can add bushes, which have leaves with white edges, such as sedula (Cornus alba) ‘Very elegant’. There are many choices for flowering bushes: from the bendable gray «Grefsheim» in early spring, later to the white blooming lilacs, from jasmines to hydrangeas (light and bushy), which bring joy in the latter part of the year.

In the flower garden only blue color is used rarely. It is usually accompanied by yellow. If you have chosen only blue, but want a slightly extravagant image, it is worth thinking about the relationship with green.
